Andre Martin is a staff writer for Solar Cells. He got his start in the publication industry working on his college newspaper at University of Washington in Seattle, where he wrote copy, designed page layouts, and edited news stories. Following that foundational experience in journalism, he eventually earned his Master of Arts degree and became a freelance contributor for Essence, Huffington Post, and Los Angeles Post. Currently based in Denver, Andre enjoys spending time all over the West Coast, whether it’s enjoying the coast of California, sand surfing in New Mexico, or climbing the Cascades back in his home state of Washington.
